Charge Amps appoints Olle Tholander as CEO

14.11.2022 – STOCKHOLM: Charge Amps, a leading, Sweden-headquartered provider of charging solutions for electric cars, today announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Olle Tholander as CEO. Olle Tholander has served as Interim CEO since August 2022. In his new role he will be responsible for leading the company on its continued international expansion and growth journey.

During 2021, Charge Amps grew its net sales by 145% to 254.2MSEK from 103.7 MSEK the previous year. The company’s growth is driven by its strong position in the Nordics, where it continues to grab market shares, as well as successful and rapid rollout of its offering across Europe. This year, Charge Amps has expanded to the Benelux and DACH regions and it now has a physical presence in seven markets, selling its products to customers in 15 countries.

Olle Tholander has significant experience leading and developing international organisations, including various senior positions at Ericsson. In addition, he has served as Chief Revenue Officer at Climeon, a leading provider of low temperature heat power and listed on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market. At Climeon, he was responsible for sustainably and profitably growing the business into one of the world’s leading providers of green baseload power.
