Climate Action
In 2021, CICERO Shades of Green assessed Charge Amps’ business activity.
CICERO is Norway’s institute for interdisciplinary climate research. Its approach explicitly links the environmental and financial aspects by assigning a Shade of Green to a company’s revenues, operating costs, and capital expenditures. The assessment shows how green a company’s activities are and allows investors to track companies’ transition efforts.
Product Life Cycle
Developing products with focus on environmental responsibility means considering the entire products’ life cycle starting from material sourcing to end-of-life.
A life cycle assessment acts as a magnifying lens in viewing the environmental impact for each stage of a product’s lifecycle. For an electric vehicle charger, the life starts from component manufacturing and spans across sourcing, production, transportation, usage, and end-of-life.
